Salut from Eddie,

My name is Eddie and I would like to welcome you to my chalet business Snow Big Deal.

I will be your chef, ski guide and if needed drinking buddy for the week. I want you to enjoy your holiday as much as I enjoy the seasonal lifestyle in what I think is one of the best resorts & ski areas in Europe.

I initially started my winter seasons as a ski/snowboard instructor and have been lucky enough to teach in Canada, Andorra & New Zealand. After a change of career, where I owned, ran and was the head chef in a restaurant in the South West of France, I decided to head back to the mountains and by default ended up in Les Gets. The combination of snow and hospitality seemed to be the logical progression of where I wanted to go in life.

At the beginning of your stay with us you can tell me what food tastes you have and I will make sure you will not go hungry! If you decide you need a guide I can show you some of the better slopes and am always on the hunt for a bit of deep "Pow" to have some fun on.

Hi, I’m Nicki and I will be your chalet manager during your stay. 

This will be my second season working with (looking after) Eddie at Snow Big Deal, however this will actually be my 4th season in Les Gets (it would be fair to say I love the place).  I spent the previous seasons (pre-Snow Big Deal) as a resort manager for a larger company, and although it was enjoyable at the time, I decided I was looking for something more client interactive.

I will be your eyes & ears for the week and if you need to book external activities or ski/snowboard lessons then leave it to me. Due to my intimate knowledge of the area I can advise you on all aspects of your holiday whatever your preferences for example I’d be more than happy to give you a tour of the best mountain restaurants for those wanting a slower paced day rather than "Steep & Deep"!

I'm very much looking forward to the new season and to meeting new guests and of course welcoming returning friends to our new chalet this year. 

I have been working hard in a tea room this summer so have been practicing some great cakes and desserts to tempt you with for afternoon tea.
